What is Sun Season?
A world map that answers one question: does the weather fit the holiday you want, in the month you can travel? Pick beach, tropical, warm, cool or snow, then pick a month. The map colours every place on Earth by how well it fits: gold where it does, and otherwise the reason it does not (too cold, too hot, too dry, too rainy, or monsoon). Tap any place for its twelve-month rain and temperature chart and the best months to go.
It uses 30-year climate averages (WorldClim 2.1, 1970–2000), not forecasts. Rain is judged by each place's own seasonal pattern, so the map can tell a monsoon from a place that is simply wet all year. Read the method or fetch the open data.
